Safety relief valves are designed and manufactured to meet the requirement of all industries for a variety of applications. They also conform to ASME- Section VIII and the design requirement of Indian Boiler Regulations. They are of full nozzle full lift type direct spring loaded, with a top guide. The full nozzle has the advantage of eliminating distortion of the seating surface, as body strain is not transmitted to the nozzle. The nozzle is made from a corrosion resistant stainless Steel material.

When the valve is in closed position, the fluid does not come in contact with the valve body and the body is therefore only subject to the outlet pressure which is very much lower than the inlet pressure. The safety relief valves are designed and manufactured in open and closed bonnet, small size flanged, liquid service relief valve and also thermal relief valve. These valves are available as standard design as well as soft seat design.

All safety relief valves are designed as per API 526 and API 520 Part – 1. The metal seated relief valves are tested as per API 527 for set pressure, reset pressure and leakage. Soft seated safety relief valves are used for low temperature and critical application only where bubble tight shut off is required. The valve sizes range between 25 x 50 NB to 250 x 350 NB. Our safety valves are flanged ended and thermal relief valves are screwed and socket welded.
